On Thursday August 19th, 2010 several hundred children and adults assembled to create get well cards for Matthew and Peter Slattery who were injured in a car crash and are in a hospital in Ohio. Over 225 cards were created and sent to Ed, their father, to give to the boys. A prayer service for the family including their mother Susan, who died in the accident, was held at St Joseph's Church the same evening.
